Using school boundary data from Precisely, we are able to identify a property's school zones. In places where school zone information isn't available, we identify the schools closest (as the crow flies) to a property.

Where do I find school information for a property?
Property Report
Below the Current Owner section, you will find any school information available.
When the school zones are known, the Property Report will show the schools the property is zoned for:
When the school zones are not known, the Property Report will show the schools closest (as the crow flies) to the property:
Map View
While viewing a map, open the layers menu then select the School Information option.
When you turn on a school zone option, the school location option turns on by default. You can manually turn off the location option.
The School Zones show the boundaries for public schools. The School Locations show where public schools are located. The Other School Locations option shows the locations for non-public schools.
How do I search by schools or school zones?
You can search by Schools or School Zones a couple of ways in LocalLook.
Advanced Search
In the Location section, you can search for one or more school names or school zones. When searching for more than one, enter a comma between each school name.
Prospecting
In the Search Filter area, select the School Zones option then select either Elementary (contain schools with grades K,1,2,3,4, and/or 5), Middle (contain schools with grades 6, 7, and/or 8), or High (contain schools with grades 9,10,11, and/or 12). Now either check the box next to the school or select the school's boundary on the map. Select the Update button to include the schools in your search filter.
The selected school's boundary will highlight in yellow on the map.
Where does the school information come from?
The school zone and location information is provided by Precisely school boundaries. Using a property's lat/long coordinates, we determine which school zone boundary it falls as well as the distance between the property and school locations.
How often is the school information updated?
They are updated quarterly.
How do I report an error or update school information?
