If you consistently use the same device (laptop, tablet, etc..) to access LocalLook, you can check the box labeled “Trust this device for 30 days” before clicking the “Verify” button. This feature will prevent you from having to reverify your identity each time you log in on that device for a span of 30 days. After 30 days, you’ll need to re-verify your identity.
If this feature is not working and you have to re-verify each time you log in to LocalLook, it is likely caused by one of the following 2 scenarios:
1. Your browser is configured to clear cookies after every session.
1. Your browser is configured to clear cookies after every session.
The Trust this device option works by storing a unique cookie in your device's browser for 30 days. Each time you log in the verification process looks to see if that unique cookie is present on your device.
If your browser settings are configured to clear cookies after every browsing session, this unique cookie gets deleted and is therefore not available for device verification the next time you log in, causing you to have to re-verify each time.
To enable the storage of this unique cookie in your browser, you'll need to adjust the settings of your browser. Instructions for the most common browsers have been provided below.
Please note that if your device is managed by your IT department, security limitations may limit you from making theses changes yourself.

- Under "Cookies and website data" select either "Allow from websites I visit" or "Allow from current website only" (When selecting the "current website only" option you'll need to have your browser open on a https://www.crsdata.com page)
Mozilla Firefox

2. Trusting multiple devices
There can be only 1 trusted device on your account at a time.
If you use multiple devices to log in, we suggest setting your most-used device as the trusted device. You will still need to verify your identity each time you log in from your secondary device.
Checking the "Trust this device" box when logging in from another device with overwrite the current trusted device.
